Milan, Aug. 26 (LaPresse) – “I had surgery yesterday, everything went well, I had the plate and screws removed, as Dr. Panzeri had already informed you, and I am doing well.” These were Federica Brignone’s first words the day after her knee surgery at La Madonnina clinic in Milan. “Now I’ll have to use crutches for a few days and then start physiotherapy and return to athletic training, so I’m very happy, my knee is doing well and so am I,” added the two-time Olympic champion at Milano-Cortina.
