Rome, 27 Aug. (LaPresse) – The number of national football associations that have announced they are withdrawing their support for Gianni Infantino as FIFA president is growing. It is understood that the Turkish and San Marino football associations have also decided to withdraw their support for Infantino ahead of the FIFA presidential elections scheduled for March 2027. The clash between Infantino and UEFA has been bitter; after withdrawing its support, UEFA has also led the main European associations – including the English FA and the FIGC – to follow suit.
