Milan, 27 August (LaPresse) – Karolina Muchova and Jakub Mensik have won the mixed doubles title at the US Open, beating Belinda Bencic and Flavio Cobolli 6-3, 1-6 (10-6) in the final. The Czech pair thus claimed a prize of one million dollars, to be shared equally between them. In the semi-finals, Muchova and Mensik had beaten the Russian pair of Mirra Andreeva and Andrey Rublev, whilst Bencic and Cobolli had defeated the duo of Elina Svitolina and Gaël Monfils.
