After a goalless first half, the home side broke the deadlock in the 69th minute with Portuguese forward Gonçalo Ramos’s first goal in a Milan shirt. They doubled their lead in the 89th minute with an own goal by Halhal, who was unlucky as the ball rebounded off him following Stankovic’s save from Jashari’s shot. Milan have a perfect record after two matchdays, whilst Venezia remain on zero points.
