If we look at the names we signed, I believe many top players have arrived, not only for this season but also for the future. I would give our transfer window a 10. My players are the best in the world; I’m not going to sit here and give it an 8 or 9. Every player we signed is perfect for our team.” Milan coach Ruben Amorim said this at a press conference on the eve of the league match against Juventus. “At Milan, everyone has to be on the same page about the player we want to sign. If anyone — whether the coach, the CEO, the scout or the ownership — is not aligned, we don’t sign that player,” he concluded. “We were all aligned on every player we signed in this transfer window.” Asked about Chivu’s comments, Amorim said: “I have nothing to say in response. I am very focused on our match. I know that if we win, we will be top of the table, probably alongside another team. My only focus is on the team. There is a lot of work to do.”
