Rome, 11 Sept. (LaPresse) – Marco Bezzecchi set the fastest time in the pre-qualifying session for the San Marino Grand Prix. The Aprilia rider, with a time of 1’30″144, finished 103 thousandths of a second ahead of Marc Marquez’s Ducati and 185 thousandths of a second ahead of Alex Marquez’s Gresini Ducati. Next came the two VR46 Ducatis ridden by Franco Morbidelli and Fabio Di Giannantonio. Championship leader Jorge Martin (Aprilia) finished tenth and qualified for Q2. Pecco Bagnaia’s Ducati finished in nineteenth place (+1.315 seconds).
