Milan, 14 Sept. (LaPresse) – At the CEV Enel EuroVolley 2026, Italy secured a third consecutive victory by beating Slovakia 3–1. The men’s national volleyball team claimed their third win (following victories over Sweden and Greece) in as many matches played at the 2026 European Championships. In front of nearly 5,000 spectators who flocked to the PalaPanini, the Azzurri, led by captain Giannelli, beat the Slovakian side 3-1 (25-17, 25-27, 25-10, 25-19) and consolidated their lead in Pool A with three wins and nine points, mathematically securing their place in the last 16.
