Rome, 14 Sept. (LaPresse) – Jannik Sinner has been entered for the Erste Bank Open in Vienna, scheduled to take place from 24 October to 1 November. This was announced on the official website of the Austrian ATP 500 tournament. The world number one – who has resumed on-court training in Monte Carlo, having come through the most critical phase of his injury – has completed a course of specialist treatment at J Medical in Turin to treat extra-articular tendinopathy in his right knee, a physical issue that had forced him to miss the US Open and the American Masters 1000 series. In Vienna, he will be aiming to repeat last year’s triumph at the Wiener Stadthalle and secure a ‘hat-trick’ (having also won the title in 2023) in his last three appearances in Vienna.
