Rome, 25 Sept. (LaPresse) – The possibility of the FIGC being placed under administration “worries me, but our position is one of support for Malagò. Placing the federation under administration frightens us because it would mean going against the very essence of democracy within this federation”. So said Renzo Ulivieri, president of the AIAC, on the sidelines of the Federal Council meeting regarding the possibility of the federation being placed under administration following the Malagò registration case. “Malagò was elected through a democratic vote, and that must not be forgotten. If this is turned into a mere formality, that is a mistake. Our support for Malagò is total and will remain so until the end,” he concluded.
