The 41-year-old NBA superstar has just left the Los Angeles Lakers to sign for the Philadelphia 76ers. James will meet the press for the first time as a Sixers player on Monday, during the team’s media day in Camden, New Jersey. Training camp begins next week. James has won the NBA title with every team he has played for: the Lakers, Miami and Cleveland. “I think I’m increasingly fascinated by the challenge of seeing just how far I can still go beyond all expectations,” James said on the podcast. James stated that, in the early stages of his decision-making process, “Philly wasn’t even an option”, until the Sixers finalised the surprise deal with Boston for Jaylen Brown, an NBA champion and Finals MVP.
