Osvaldo’s condition is improving; his family say: “He’s doing well and is alert”

Turin, 27 Sept. (LaPresse) – Daniel Osvaldo’s condition is improving; he is currently in intensive care following surgery for a pleural effusion. “He is well and alert,” his family told the Argentine newspaper ‘Clarín’. The former Roma, Juventus and Inter player – an Argentine striker who has been naturalised as an Italian citizen – is under close observation at Lavallol Hospital, on the outskirts of Buenos Aires. According to the doctors, the next step is to stabilise his respiratory functions. Radiological examinations and blood tests will also be carried out.
