Turin, 27 Sept. (LaPresse) – Nicolò Bulega has won the 2026 Superbike World Championship title following a season in which he dominated the field. The Ducati rider is the second Italian to claim victory in Superbike after Max Biaggi, who was world champion in 2010 and 2012 riding an Aprilia. A second-place finish in Race 2 at Cremona was enough for Bulega to be crowned champion with two rounds remaining in the season. Bulega, the first rider to win world titles in both WorldSSP and WorldSBK, will race in MotoGP next year, riding for the VR46 Ducati team.
