Rome, 6 Oct. (LaPresse/AP) – Formula 1 driver Valtteri Bottas has chosen to travel to Singapore by bicycle, cycling from Sepang between one Grand Prix and the next. The 37-year-old Cadillac driver set off for the next round of the World Championship after failing to finish the Bahrain Grand Prix, held last Sunday in Malaysia. Whilst drivers and teams were preparing to fly to Singapore for this weekend’s race, Bottas set off on a journey of over 320 kilometres. The Finn has yet to score any championship points this season, and his best result is 13th place at the Chinese Grand Prix last March. Bottas has been racing in Formula 1 since 2013 and has secured 10 wins and 67 podium finishes.
