(LaPresse) – Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini remain unbeaten at the ‘China Open’, the penultimate WTA 1000 event of the season, currently taking place on the hard courts of Beijing with a prize fund of $9,415,725. The two Italian players have secured their places in the quarter-finals of the tournament, defeating Britain’s Katie Boulter and Ukraine’s Yuliia Starodubtseva 7-5, 6-1 in the second round in a match lasting an hour and a quarter. In the quarter-finals, Errani and Paolini will face the pairing of Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and Brazilian Luisa Stefani.
