Rome, 10 Oct. (LaPresse) – Max Verstappen has secured pole position for the Singapore Grand Prix, the 17th round of the F1 World Championship. The Red Bull driver, winner of the sprint race, claimed his 50th career pole, finishing 54 thousandths of a second ahead of Charles Leclerc’s Ferrari and Lewis Hamilton’s other ‘red’ car. The championship leader, Kimi Antonelli, will start from the second row after setting the fourth-fastest time. He is followed by Lando Norris and George Russell, who will start at the back of the grid due to a Power Unit change.
