Rome, 10 Oct. (LaPresse) – Max Verstappen claimed his first victory in Singapore, triumphing in the Sprint race at the Marina Bay circuit ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc. Fourth place went to the current world championship leader, Kimi Antonelli, who capitalised on the double spin by the two McLarens – Piastri was fourth and Norris fifth – on the final lap. Norris had, in fact, tried to overtake his team-mate, who was hot on Leclerc’s heels, ultimately causing the mistake.
