Milan, 27 Oct. (LaPresse) – No fewer than nine matches were played during last night’s NBA action, with many top teams in action. The Boston Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 134–99, with Payton Pritchard scoring 28 points off the bench. The Dallas Mavericks deepened the Miami Heat’s early-season slump with a 109–113 victory; Cooper Flagg led the Texans with 29 points and 11 assists, whilst Kyrie Irving added 18. For the Heat, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s triple-double of 29, 14 and 11 was not enough; Simone Fontecchio remains sidelined. Another victory for the Oklahoma City Thunder, beating the Phoenix Suns 125–114, with 26 points from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. The Cleveland Cavaliers also secured a win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, 127–125, with 26 points from Donovan Mitchell. In Minnesota, Anthony Edwards’ 47 points were not enough. In the West, the Golden State Warriors beat the Denver Nuggets 134–114, with Yaxel Lendeborg scoring 31 points and grabbing 12 rebounds, and Steph Curry adding 24. Nikola Jokic’s 19 points and 11 assists were not enough for the Nuggets. In the other matches: Charlotte Hornets 110–103 Washington Wizards, Milwaukee Bucks 110–102 Indiana Pacers, Houston Rockets 120–110 Atlanta Hawks, Utah Jazz 105–110 Memphis Grizzlies.
