Turin, 28 Oct. (LaPresse) – Bologna secured a 4–2 victory at San Siro against Milan in their Serie A Matchday 9 fixture, bringing the Rossoneri’s winning run to an end and dealing them a major setback in their bid for Champions League qualification. The standout performers were Mbangula, who scored a hat-trick, and Cisse, who netted a first-half brace to put the hosts 2-1 ahead. In the second half, however, within the space of two minutes – in the 15th and 17th minutes – thanks to a goal from the former Juventus player and an own goal by Bartesaghi, Palladino’s side turned the match around, with Mbangula sealing the victory late on with a strike on the counter-attack following an assist from Odgaard. The Emilia-Romagna side thus move up to 11 points, sitting mid-table, whilst Milan remain on 18.
