Milan, 31 Oct. (LaPresse) – Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund drew 2–2 in the traditional ‘Klassiker’ on Matchday 8 of the Bundesliga. The two sides thus remain joint top of the table on 18 points, two points clear of Freiburg. Before the match, Harry Kane was honoured for winning the Ballon d’Or, but it was not the best of evenings for the English striker. After Laimer put Bayern ahead in the first half, Kane missed a penalty early in the second half and shortly afterwards Borussia equalised through Guirassy. Bayern regained the lead just after the hour mark through Upamecano, but Borussia did not give up and, in the closing stages, Silva scored the equaliser to make it 2-2. For Bayern, Saibari and Gnabry both picked up injuries in the first half.
