Turin, 1 Nov. (LaPresse) – Frosinone are unstoppable. Alvini’s side, the revelation of the early season, beat Torino 2–0 at home in their Serie A Matchday 10 fixture, securing their third win in their last four matches and taking their tally to 20 points, just one point behind fifth-placed Milan. Ghedjemis’s goal early in the second half, from an assist by fellow winger Kvernadze, proved decisive. It was a deserved win for the Ciociari, who came close to doubling their lead on several occasions – with a double attempt from Birlingea, a left-footed shot from Ghedjemis that hit the post, and a shot from Calò that grazed the post – before Calò himself scored the 2–0 goal in the closing stages to seal the victory. The Granata, who looked dangerous with a long-range effort from Vlasic and an attempt by Comuzzo, suffered their second consecutive defeat and remain on 13 points.
