Udine, Nov. 2 (LaPresse) – Kosta Runjaic is no longer Udinese’s head coach, having been “relieved of his duties as head coach of the first team. The paths of the coach and the Bianconeri part ways after more than two years marked by the achievement of important objectives.” This is what the Friulian club announced in a statement, adding that it “sincerely thanks Kosta and his assistants Malecki and Trukan and wishes them every success in their professional careers.” The German coach’s fate was sealed by the heavy home defeat against Roma (5-2) over the weekend and, more generally, by a poor start to the season, with Udinese collecting just five points in ten matchdays. Paolo Zanetti is set to replace Runjaic.
