Meta, Zuckerberg presents new AI-based glasses

Menlo Park (USA), Sept. 18 (LaPresse) – Meta has unveiled its new AI-powered smart glasses featuring a small display and controlled via a neural wristband that responds to “barely perceptible” movements, announced by the company’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg. “Glasses are the only device that allows artificial intelligence to see what you see and hear what you hear,” Zuckerberg said from Meta’s headquarters in Menlo Park, California. The glasses, named Meta Ray-Ban Display, will be available starting September 30 at a price of $799. Meta also introduced a new series of AI-powered glasses for athletes called Oakley Meta Vanguard, designed specifically for high-intensity sports and compatible with Garmin devices to provide users with workout feedback such as heart rate and statistics.
