Rome, 7 March (LaPresse) – South Korean President under impeachment Yoon Suk Yeol has been released from custody after a court accepted his request to cancel his arrest for his brief imposition of martial law. This was reported by the Yonhap news agency. Yoon had submitted the request to the Seoul Central District Court last month, arguing that ‘his indictment for the declaration of martial law on 3 December was illegal’.
