SpaceX, Starship spacecraft exploded in flight

Turin, 7 Mar (LaPresse) – The latest test flight of SpaceX's Starship ended with another explosion. Contact with the spacecraft was lost within minutes. Wreckage was seen falling from the sky over Florida. SpaceX later confirmed that the spacecraft had broken up. ‘During Starship's ascent phase, the vehicle underwent a rapid unplanned disassembly and contact was lost,’ he explains on X. ‘Our team immediately began coordinating with security authorities to implement pre-planned emergency responses. ‘We will be analysing the data from today's flight test to better understand the root cause. As always, success comes from what we learn, and today's flight will provide further lessons to improve Starship's reliability,’ the post reads.
