Rome, Mar 8 (LaPresse) – The U.S. decision to suspend military intelligence sharing with Ukraine this week has facilitated Russian advances along a critical section of the front, weakening President Volodymyr Zelensky's negotiating position and resulting in the deaths of many Ukrainian soldiers in recent days.

This was reported by Time, citing five senior Western and Ukrainian officials and military officers familiar with the situation.

"As a result of this pause, there are hundreds of dead Ukrainians," one officer told Time. "The biggest problem is morale," he added, noting that Ukrainian forces are left to fight without some of their best weapon systems—not because of Russian attacks but due to U.S. withdrawals. "It's really giving the enemy an advantage on the front line," the officer explained.
