Milan, 9 March (LaPresse) – The Russian army has taken control of two settlements in the Kursk direction within 24 hours. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry, quoted by Interfax. ‘During offensive operations, units of the Sever military group liberated the village of Lebedevka in the Kursk region and the village of Novenkoye in the Sumy region,’ it is reported. Yesterday, the Defence Ministry had reported that the Russian army had retaken control of the settlements of Viktorovka, Nikolaevka and Staraya Sorochina in the Kursk region.
