Strasbourg (France), March 11 (LaPresse) – Regarding repatriation hubs, "we need to differentiate. These are completely different things. One is the Rwanda model. Another is the Italy-Albania model, which is also something entirely different. This is for asylum seekers, for example. Then there are these repatriation hubs, which we will make possible for Member States," said EU Commissioner for Migration, Magnus Brunner, during a press conference in Strasbourg.
"We are creating the possibility for Member States to implement this with innovative solutions, but this concerns people who have already received a repatriation decision. So, we are opening up the opportunity for Member States to do this. But these three things are entirely different," Brunner concluded.
