Warsaw (Poland), 13 Mar. (LaPresse/AP) – Polish President Andrzej Duda has once again called on the United States to deploy nuclear weapons in Poland as a deterrent against Russia. Duda made his appeal in an interview with the Financial Times published today, repeating an appeal already made to the Biden administration in 2022. Duda's international affairs adviser, Wojciech Kolarski, followed up Duda's appeal with an interview on Polish radio RMF FM this morning, in which he argued that nuclear protection would improve Poland's security, a NATO member along the eastern flank of the alliance that shares borders with Ukraine, Belarus and the Russian exclave of Kaliningrad.
