Milan, 19 Mar (LaPresse) – ‘On 19 March 2025, as a result of the negotiation process, 175 Russian military personnel were repatriated from the territory controlled by the Kiev regime. In return, 175 prisoners of war of the Ukrainian armed forces were transferred'. This is according to the Russian Defence Ministry, as reported by the Tass news agency. Russia also handed over 22 seriously wounded prisoners of war in need of urgent medical attention. The ministry specified that the freed Russian servicemen are in Belarus. They will be sent to Russia for treatment and rehabilitation.
