Rome, March 22 (LaPresse) – A total of 343 people have been arrested in Turkey following the protests in Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Adana, Antalya, Çanakkale, Eskisehir, Konya, and Edirne last night after the arrest of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu. This was reported by Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya on X.
"Those who try to disrupt the social order, threaten the peace and security of our nation, and seek chaos and provocation will never have a chance and will absolutely not be tolerated. Our police officers, who are the guarantors of our peace and security, are working day and night," he wrote on X.
