Gaza, killed in Israeli airstrike Hamas political leader

Gaza (LaPresse) – An Israeli airstrike killed a senior Hamas political leader in the Gaza Strip overnight. The confirmation came from the Palestinian militants themselves in the early hours of Sunday. Hamas stated that Salah Bardawil, a member of its political office and the Palestinian parliament, was killed in an attack near the southern city of Khan Younis, in which his wife also died. Bardawil was a well-known member of the group's political wing and had given interviews to the media over the years.
