Ukraine: China, the hypothesis of our troops on a peacekeeping mission is false

In response to the question regarding the report in the German newspaper Welt am Sonntag, that the Chinese Foreign Ministry had discussed the possibility of China joining the peacekeeping force in Ukraine in Brussels, and asked for confirmation that Beijing was considering deploying troops to Ukraine as part of such a mission and under what conditions, the ministry's spokesman, Guo Jiakun, said the report was ‘completely false’. This was reported by the Global Times. Guo reiterated at a press conference that China's position on the Ukrainian crisis remains ‘consistent and unequivocal’.
