Ukraine, Moscow: “Risk of Direct Clash if Foreign Troops Deployed”

Milan, April 9 (LaPresse) – Any foreign military presence in Ukraine will be considered a threat to Russia and carries the risk of direct military confrontation. This was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova, according to Russian news agency Ria Novosti.
“We would like to remind that any foreign military presence in Ukraine—regardless of flags, insignia, or declared mandates—will be regarded by the Russian Federation as a threat to the security of our country and involves the risk of direct military clashes between the participants in such so-called missions by individual NATO members and, consequently, the entire Alliance, with our country,” Zakharova said.
