Ukraine, China: "Us involved in the war? No to unfounded accusations"

Milan, April 23 (LaPresse) – “We have already clarified China’s position,” and Beijing “strongly opposes unfounded accusations and political manipulation,” said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun in response to questions about the message delivered to Kyiv by the Chinese ambassador, who was summoned yesterday by Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting in Kyiv, serious concerns were raised regarding the “involvement of Chinese citizens in hostilities against Ukraine alongside” Russia, and the alleged “participation of Chinese companies in the production of military goods in Russia.”
