Israeli Raid on Gaza: 45 Dead Including One-Week-Old Baby

Deir al-Balah (Gaza Strip), May 21 (LaPresse/AP) – Hospitals in the Gaza Strip report that Israeli strikes carried out overnight and throughout the day have killed at least 45 people, including several women and a one-week-old baby. In the southern city of Khan Younis, where Israel has recently ordered new evacuations ahead of a planned larger-scale offensive, 24 people were killed, 14 of whom belonged to the same family. The one-week-old baby was killed in central Gaza.
