Turin, May 26 (LaPresse) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he hopes to "announce something" regarding the hostages today or tomorrow. "The release of our hostages is our top priority," the Prime Minister said, as reported by Ynet. "I truly hope to be able to announce something about it. And if not today, then tomorrow. We are not giving up," he added. His office later issued a clarification. "Netanyahu meant that we are working hard and that if there is no agreement today, we will not give up," officials told Ynet. "We are putting pressure on Hamas and also on Witkoff, and we hope for good news. The Prime Minister meant in the near future, not literally today or tomorrow — it was a figure of speech," they added.
