Washington (USA), 26 May (LaPresse) – US President Donald Trump said that progress has been made with Iran on its nuclear programme and hinted at the possibility of an announcement in the ‘next two days’. ‘We've had very, very positive talks with Iran,’ Trump told reporters in northern New Jersey after leaving his golf club, where he spent most of the weekend, ‘and I don't know if I'll tell you anything good or bad in the next two days, but I have a feeling I might have some good news.’ He then emphasised: ‘We have made real progress, serious progress in the talks. Let's see what happens, but I think we could have good news on the Iranian front.’ The fifth round of nuclear negotiations between the US and Iran took place in Rome on Friday.
