This is according to the latest figures released by the Hamas-run Ministry of Health in Gaza, which reports 79 deaths and 163 injuries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total death toll since the start of the war to 54,056 and the number of injured to 123,129. The Gaza ministry specifies that the toll for the last 24 hours, which is based on hospital data, does not include hospitals in the north of the Strip due to difficulties in accessing them.
