Brussels, 28 May. (LaPresse) – "Russia remains the most significant and direct threat to our security. I know that Iceland has a proud tradition as a peaceful nation, and this makes your contribution even more significant. Because to preserve peace, we must adopt a wartime mentality." NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte says this at a press conference in Brussels with Icelandic Prime Minister Kristrún Frostadóttir. "This is why I appreciate having a committed transatlanticist like you at the helm, dear Kristrún. Your leadership sends a strong signal of commitment and strengthens our alliance", adds the number one of the Atlantic Alliance.
