USA: judge suspends Trump's latest ban on foreign students at Harvard

Washington (USA), 6 June (LaPresse) – A federal judge, Judge Allison Burroughs of Boston, has temporarily blocked the decree issued on Wednesday by US President Donald Trump introducing a ban on foreign students entering the United States to attend Harvard University. A few hours earlier, the university had filed an appeal asking the federal judge to block the tycoon's order, calling it an illegal retaliation for Harvard's refusal to accept the White House's demands. The historic American university will thus be able to admit foreign students to attend various programmes until 16 June, when a new hearing has been set.
