Jerusalem, June 10 (LaPresse) – Eight of the 12 activists aboard the Madleen vessel of the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, seized by Israel, have refused expulsion from Israel. This was reported by Adalah, the human rights group providing legal assistance to the activists, specifying that the other four—including Greta Thunberg, two other activists, and a journalist—have accepted expulsion. The eight who refused expulsion are currently in detention, and their cases will be examined by Israeli authorities. Previously, French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot had stated that five of the six French citizens on the Madleen had refused expulsion, while only one had accepted, without specifying who they were.
