Milan, July 7 (LaPresse) – The Russian army is targeting energy and gas facilities in Ukraine’s Sumy region. Tens of thousands of consumers have been left without electricity and gas. According to RBC-Ukraine, around 20,000 consumers in 147 settlements in the region remain without electricity, and more than 13,000 are without gas supply. “Some of these areas are uninhabited. They are border zones from which all residents have been evacuated,” said the head of Sumy’s regional administration, Oleg Hryhorov, in a social media post. “We also have new damage to gas infrastructure,” he added.
