Germany, intelligence: "Disruptive actions and espionage from Russia are increasing"

Frankfurt (Germany), July 21 (LaPresse) – According to the German Military Counterintelligence Service (MAD), Russia is intensifying its espionage and disruptive activities in Germany. “The approach is more massive and also more aggressive,” said MAD President Martina Rosenberg. Russian intelligence services are operating “as we saw during the Cold War.” Furthermore, their scope is expanding. According to DPA, the number of suspected cases has nearly doubled in a year. Russian agents continue to enter Germany through third countries.
