Ukraine: Russia responds to latest EU sanctions

Milan, 22 July (LaPresse) – Russia has announced countermeasures in response to the latest two packages of EU sanctions, the 17th and 18th, approved on 20 May and 18 July respectively. The announcement was made by the Foreign Ministry in Moscow, which stated that “in response to these hostile actions” it has “significantly expanded the list of representatives of European institutions, EU Member States and a number of European states that are integrating into the anti-Russian policy”, who will be banned from entering Russia. Among them are ‘members of EU member states and the European Parliament who voted for anti-Russian resolutions and draft laws,’ the ministry said.
