Ukraine, Moscow: ‘We control 99.7% of Luhansk and almost 80% of Donetsk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia’

Rome, Aug. 30 (LaPresse) – “Currently, the armed forces of the Russian Federation have liberated 99.7% of the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic (less than 60 square kilometers remain) and 79% of the territory of the Donetsk People’s Republic. Russian troops control 74% of the Zaporizhzhia region and 76% of the Kherson region,” said Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, as quoted by Russian news agencies.
