Brussels, Sept. 11 (LaPresse) – The European Parliament has approved the resolution proposal on Gaza jointly put forward by the S&D socialists, Renew liberals, and the Greens. The EPP distanced itself from the united resolution yesterday and attempted to dilute the text with several amendments. Out of 578 voters, 305 MEPs voted in favor, 151 against, and 122 abstained. Since this resolution has been approved, the proposals from the other groups will not be put to a vote.
