Attack at the Allenby crossing between Jordan and the West Bank: one dead and one injured

Rome, Sept. 18 (LaPresse) – According to reports from Israeli media, a shooting occurred at the Allenby crossing point, controlled by Israel, between central West Bank and Jordan. An “assailant” was reportedly “neutralized.” Following the attack, one Israeli citizen was killed and another was seriously wounded. This was announced by Magen David Adom (Red Star of David). According to initial reports from Israeli media, the alleged assailant had arrived from Jordan aboard an aid truck heading to the Gaza Strip. As reported by Channel 12, the man was involved in transferring humanitarian aid to Gaza and had an Israeli permit.
