North Codorus (Pennsylvania, USA), Sept. 18 (LaPresse) – Three police officers were killed and two others were injured in a shooting in southern Pennsylvania, state authorities reported. “We mourn the loss of three precious lives who served this county, this state, this nation,” said Governor Josh Shapiro. Investigations are ongoing in the North Codorus Township area, about 185 kilometers west of Philadelphia, near the Maryland border. Pennsylvania State Police Commissioner Christopher Paris stated that York Hospital was treating two people in serious condition related to the incident, which occurred in the northern part of York County. The hospital also announced it had activated enhanced security protocols.
