USA, former FBI director James Comey indicted

Milan, Sept. 26 (LaPresse) – Former FBI director James Comey has been indicted by a federal jury, CNN reports. Comey, long an opponent of the president, is now the first high-ranking government official to face federal charges in one of the biggest Trump-related cases: the 2016 investigation into possible collusion between his first presidential campaign and Russia. He has been charged with making false statements and obstruction of justice, according to a source close to the matter. Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post on X: “No one is above the law.”
