Milan, 1 October (LaPresse) – Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar has asked the flotilla to deliver the aid, stating that ‘it’s not too late’ and calling the initiative a ‘Hamas-Sumud provocation’. “Greece has now joined Italy’s appeal to the flotilla: “Accept the offer of the Latin Patriarchate of Jerusalem to safely deliver aid intended in solidarity with the children, women and men of Gaza”. Spain has also asked them not to continue on their route. Appeals are coming from all sides for this Hamas-Sumud provocation to cease,‘ Sa’ar wrote in a post on X. ’We join these appeals and reiterate: it is not too late. Please transfer your aid peacefully to Gaza via the port of Cyprus, the port of Ashkelon or any other port in the region,” he added.
